The first thing: What is the public beta and how is it different from the developer version?
Apple Pal announced the iOS26 in the first WWDC earlier this year, and since then the developers have been admitted early.
But public beta is an opportunity to test new features before the entire release without the need for a developer account. This is more stable.
Full new look: Liquid Glass Reddinine
This is the first largest IOS re -design of Apple Palla in a decade – the last IOS7 is back in 2013.
With IOS26, the Apple Pal Liquid Glass is bringing a new new interface called Visual Overholl that brings semicircle, depth and liquid speed across the UI.
- Icons and buttons have been redesigned
- Toolbar and tabs are now semi -transparent
- Pop-out menu gives quick access to features as modern tech on 3D touch
- Widgets are refreshed to match the new visual theme
This is not just visual glow-up; Apple Pal’s reconsideration is what the iPhone looks and how it looks like.
Native apps: smart, sleek, more useful
Phone app: Recent calls and voicemail now live in a tab and the favorite contacts are at the top.
You will also get AI-Power voicemail summary so you don’t have to listen to the whole thing.
Facetime: Controls for easy access are moved to the bottom right.
The message now lets you set the custom group chat background, lets you create a voting, let the Apple send the cash, see the typeing indicator in the chat and enjoy the on-day spam.
Privacy and communication upgraded
Safari now includes advanced fingerprinting protection and its address bar is more transparent to match the new theme

- The new layout of facetime simplifies in-call navigation
Camera and Photo: Simple, smart
The camera app is becoming a declor. You just swipe to switch between photos and videos
Photo app is now tab-based, making your shots easier to find

Apple Pal Maps will learn your routine and show real-time updates with your usual ways
You will also get location history, Google to Google Maps — at the same time encrypted, of course encrypted
Wallet Digital Passport Support, Refresh Boarding Pass, Airport Maps and Even the “Report Lost Bagges” option
New Core app: Game
Apple Pal is launching a dedicated game app that combines your Apple Pal Arcade Library, success, multiplayer options and trending titles.

IPhone SE (2rd General and up)
IPhone 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 series (with mini/plus/pro/maximum variants)
The entire iPhone 16 lineup (when it launches). But here’s the catch: Apple Pal Intelligence Features Only the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max are available on. So most users will get a new look and many features, while some AI Magic is for new hardware.
